Nine Eleven

The attacks of September 11th 2001 are one of the defining moments of my generation. To me they are akin to the attack on Pearl Harbor because, like that attack, they redefined the way the world perceived the threat of the global Jihad and Islamic terrorism.

My parents remember where they were when Kennedy was assassinated and who was with them in the room when Neil Armstrong took man's first steps on the moon - I remember exactly where I was when prime minister Rabin was assassinated and who I was with with when the World Trade Center towers collapsed.

The image is simple and evocative: The elongated format hints at the shape of the towers.
The two numbers: nine and eleven, emphasized in red hint at the drama and the terror of the event itself and the question mark asks the question we would all love to see answered:
"What Next?"
