  1. Hello, I read your 'Who I am" statement, very interesting. I like what you've done with the images. With all the innovations in digital photography it is becoming an abstract form or art now. It is like what happened with painting after photography was invented. The virisimilitude is not important but how you can tweek the technology in a creative way.

I work at The Mint Museum in Charlotte, NC. We have a contemporary ceramics exhibition coming from Israel opening here in February.

  2. Thanks for commenting : )

I agree with your statement regarding digital art - i think that it's a process we are witnessing right now but regretfully it seems that the the "old guard" of the art world is still hesitant.

I guess it's the nature of change - there will always be those who resist it despite it's inevitability.

I'm curious to hear whose work you are going to display. I teach at the HIT's Industrial design faculty and there is a class dedicated to ceramics available to students...

  3. I don't have a complete list of the artists' whose work will be on display but here is a link to some of the ones I have publicity images for.

    It is sponsored by AIDA.

The process of art and it's inovations has followed the same pattern. There is an established hirerachy and new ideas are in contrast to the established norms. Eventually the new ideas become the established ones and the cycle starts over.

  4. Thx for the additional info.
I looked at the photobucket page and was well impressed with some of the pieces. I'm aware of the cyclic nature of change but regretfully my awareness does little to soothe my impatience.

As a digital artist I often face disdaining looks from established art professionals who still don't feel that digital art is suitable for serious treatment. It is very frustrating...

    All the best,
    Mike
